Goyal clarified that countries that still need to improve their fisheries capabilities, including India, cannot give up on their future ambitions. He said that it is unfair to continue giving subsidies to the best countries.



Environmental protection



Goyal noted that environmental protection has long been an integral part of Indian practice and the Prime Minister continued to emphasize that India should end the dialogue if the current and future fisheries needs are balanced and equitable.
